Inspectro is a C++ based computer programme which combines several hardware components. This communication transforms a traditional microscope or macroscope into a comfortable, semi-automated inspection microscope for laboratory and production. The current version allows the microscope or digital macroscope i.e. and a xy-stage as well as a remote camera to communicate to each other. Thereby recurring inspection and control duties can be automated. Optionally the camera can be mounted to a xyz-stage and work also in vertical direction. This will be necessary for the usage in assembly lines. |

Inspectro details: Remote software to control camera, xy-stage and motor driven z-axis (for focussing). All important camera functions (Zoom, actuator, exposure parametres) can be controlled via PC. The exposure and stage positon data can be recorded per teach in and stored in charts. Units, blanks, wafers and other samples can be automatically scanned by the motor driven stage and displayed on the monitor (i. e. for an optical inspection). Therefore a live picture function with a grid shown on the display is available. For each programmed position single images or or whole stacks can be imported. Z-image stacks can be compiled (with infinite focus software) to images with theoretically infinite focus. Single xy -images can be composed to a high resolution lage size picture of the whole sample. A further application is the automatic image import for an image analysis or automatic inspection. |
