The coolDarkRing - dark-field LED ring light for incident or transmitted light illumination.
Made from high quality black anodized aluminum, the ring light has 40 super bright LEDs that can be divided into 8 segments, at 5 LEDs each.
The new coolDarkRing can be transformed from a dark field incident light into a dark field transmitted light with simple accessories and within only a few seconds. It can then be segmented and dimmed.

CoolDarkRing is available for different working distances with various angles and can also be used for the latest generation stereo microscope lenses. These do not only have larger outer diameter, but also very little working distance. The cool dark ring fitts for lenses with 58mm diameter up to a maximum of 85mm with adapter rings. The unused working distance of the lens is almost completely usable since the ring light was made without stop angles and thus can be fixed at any position on the objective of the stereo microscope.
